June 2019 Highlights

In memory of Arlan Scott a pop can recycling station has been set up at the 6th Street property. Friends and family gathered to unveil the station last month.

Pride Week Art Session

In partnership with the Borderland Pride group CLFFD hosted an Open Art Studio at the Fort Frances Library. Participants created Pride flags and ribbon wands to celebrate Pride! Participants enjoyed the session and are looking forward to more of our summer sessions to come!

CLFFD received funding from Celebrate Canada to host an Open Art Studio event, the session was held on Thursday June 27th at the Fort Frances Lions Park. The project was garden stepping stones and painted pots. There were around 100 people who came out for this event!

Open Air Art Studio

We have been fortunate to once again receive funding from the Moffat Family Fund to host the Open Air Art Studio sessions! Sessions will take place on Mondays from 3:00-5:30pm, sessions are completely free and open to everyone! Come out and enjoy some art making!
